“I’ve always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come. I don’t do things half-heartedly. Because I know if I do, then I can expect half-hearted results,” -Micheal Jordan
I found this quote last week and compared it to my life and realized it was accurate. I am a person who is determined. I will not quit, but knowing that if I do everything with a whole heart the results I am striving for will be seen. I am a very involved student who puts way to much on her plate each day and expects to accomplish her long list of tasks. Last year I wore myself to becoming overwhelmed and in tears. I knew I had to give commitments and activities up and focus on what was most important to me and what I wanted to be involved in.
Learning to let go taught me that I can now put my focus, energy, and heart into my school work and activities. I enter into each day with a whole heart and a positive outlook, which is encouraging. I challenge anyone who reads this blog to do everything with a whole heart. The results will be seen and your hard work will pay off.
